Nadia Comaneci - (born on 12th November, 1961 Gheorghe Gheorghiu Dej (now Onesti, Romania), Romanian gymnast. The first person in history to achieve a score of 10 in an Olympic competition. Bela Karrolyi, the Romanian gymnastics instructor who became Comaneci's coach later on found her around the age of six. At first, she competed in the national junior championships in Romania in the year 1969, she finished 13th. In 1970, she won. At her first international event in 1972 a pre-Olympic junior competition for communist-bloc nations she won three gold medals and in 1973 and 1974 she was overall junior champion. In her first senior competition in the year 1975, she defeated Russian Lyudmila Turkishcheva. The five-time European champion, winning four gold medals and one silver. She became the first female to perform a reverse double salo on the uneven parallel bar in the event she won American Cup, New York City 1976. Carol Wayne.........................Carol Wayne was an American film and TV actor best recognized for portraying Art Fern's Tea-Time Movie Lady on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson. She began her career in entertainment as a teenager in which she was a part of a figure skating duo with her twin sister Nina Wayne for the travelling show Ice Capades. Carol Marie Wayne is a American citizen who was born on September 6, 1942, in Chicago Illinois. Carol started her professional career as an entertainer during her teenage years. Her first professional gig was figure skating alongside Nina Wayne, her younger sister, in the traveling entertainment show Ice Capades. Ice Capades featured performances of ice-skating with actors.
