Audrey Tautou
Audrey Tautou is the youngest of four children born August 9, 1976, from Beaumont Puy in Domme. At a young age, her dental doctor parents as well as her teacher mother supported Audrey's love of theater and drama. This passion which trumped her original desire to become a an animal scientist. The rise of her as an actress in her early years was quick and marked by her early successes. Her career began in earnest at the age of 1999 the year she first began performing professionally. Following her studies Tautou was a participant in the French TV show that scouts talent Jeunes Premiers. Tautou was raised in a Catholic home and went to church, even though she was a student within school at the Institut Catholique de Paris. Along with her acting career she started a modelling career. It is her turn to be the spokesperson for L'Oreal Mont Blanc & Chanel and often called The Chanel Muse. In the past, during Arles Arts Festival, Arles Arts Festival she exhibited an array of photos under the title Superficial. The focus of her photography is celebrities, fame and the press that scrutinised her following her fame-making debut with Amelie. There are also several photographs that show herself. Audrey Tautou's international popularity and success exploded following her role in the film as Amelie Poulain's main lady in Le Fabuleux Destin in the film d'Amelie. Amelie was an international box-office hit, receiving accolades during awards ceremonies across all over the world. Amelie was the highest-rated french-language film to hit the US. The following year, she was a part of British dramas, including Stephen Knight's Dirty Pretty Things as well as Jean-Pierre Jeunet's The long day of the fiancailles. In the following year, she moved to Hollywood to work in Hollywood, where Ron Howard directed the Dan Brown bestseller The Da Vinci Code.
