Annet Mahendru
Mahendru is an Afghani lady born to an Russian father as well as mother who is a Hindu Indian mother. She is fluent with German Russian and English and is also fluent in French Persian and Hindi. Annet Mahendru's parents are Russian as well as Indian. At age 11 she created a choreography that earned her a slot on German TV as a graceful Russian snow maiden, who turns into a lively Indian dancer. When she graduated from the requirements for high school at the age of 11 in New York, she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in English from St. John's University. She took classes in acting in the HB Studios, but then went on to study improv comedy at The Groundlings School. Her birthplace was in Kabul Afghanistan to a Hindu-Indian father Ghanshan Ken Mahendru, and the Russian mom Olga. Her family relocated into East Meadow New York, with her father when she turned 13 and stars along Matthew Rhys and Keri Russel on FX's The Americans. Her role on FX's The Americans as Nina Sergeevna Krilova is her most notable TV performance. The actress has a regular role in The Following on Fox, The Following and NBC's The Blacklist.
